Friday 27th,

This year Bicester Bowls Club Tour took them to Llandeilo Wales, the tour started on Friday 27th June and finished Monday 30th June, all did not go to plan on the first day as the bus that was to take the club on tour broke down outside the club, which delayed the start of the tour by a few hours, but luck would have it that one of the members on tour had the bar keys, so the wait didnt seem that long.

Soon they were on thier way, the accommodation was split between two pubs the White Hart and the Plough, on the first evening the club met at the White Hart for a carvery dinner which was held in a private room, after an enjoyable evening the coach returned half of the team back to the Plough to sleep it off.

Saturday 28th,

The day started off with some of the club members taking a trip to the National Botanical Gardens, this was then followed by a light lunch before heading of for our first game, this was against Llandelio Bowls Club.

Some where not as lucky as others.......

After a great day of bowling, the club layed on a wonderful meal for us, which was followed by a few socialable drinks, a great day was had by all, the coach then returned us all to our accommodation to again sleep it off.

Sunday 29th,

A little later start to the day for us today as it was Sunday, the coach picked up the members who wanted to go and we all went for a scenic tour of Town Valley, which offered Castles to view and the ancient town of Carmarthen.

After this it was of to our second and final match against Carmarthen Bowls Club, the weather was slightley better for this one.

Again after the game it was followed by a fantastic meal and entertainment in the form of a pianist for which we all had a sing song, this was thouroughly enjoyed by all, the coach then picked us all up and took us back to our accommodation for an early night seeing that it was Sunday Ha Ha.
Well some didn't have an early night...........

 Monday 30th,

Today was our leaving day, we were all picked up 10.00am and headed to our last visit which was to the BIG PIT at the national Mine Museum, this involved a tour down the mine followed by a lunch at the PIT Canteen, from there the coach took us all back to Bicester, arriving back at 18.00hrs, all in all i think the tour went well and was enjoyed by all that attended.

A big thanks goes to Alan Hall for all his hard work in organising the tour.
